Who We Are

We are a group of families affected by Type 1 Diabetes.  Our mission is to create a strong community of T1D families in Humboldt & surrounding area.  Within this community it is our goal to support each other, learn together, advocate for one another and spread awareness for our cause. We raise funds for diabetes research, we advocate for diabetics locally, provincially, and federally, and we provide support for new and current T1Ds and their families in our area.  Our families are from Humboldt, Muenster, Bruno, Watson, Lake Lenore, Annaheim, Englefeld, Wadena,  Wynyard, Watrous & St. Brieux.

We are here to support you.

If you or someone you know was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, please reach out!  We have kids, teens, and adults with Type 1 Diabetes, along with parents and spouses who support them.  We get it!  And if you're ready for individualized support, we can connect you with families who can relate to your unique situation.  Our goal is to support you and your family on this journey in whichever way suits your needs best.  We hope that you will feel encouraged and will be able to live the best diabetic life possible.

Community Support Walk
